THE CREATION OF THE BRAND

The creator of St Nian brand, Nihan Buruk, comes from Turkey. Her journey into the world of fashion began when she became Miss Turkey in 2002, triggering her natural affinity for fashion. 

Nihan pursued her passion by studying Fashion and Textile Design at Yeditepe University's Faculty. After completing her education, she launched her own fashion brand in 2013, gaining valuable experience and achieving significant progress along the way. 

In 2020, Nihan rebranded her brand as St Nian when she made the decision to relocate to Paris.

THE BRAND PURPOSE

To provide people with a rock’n roll yet glamorous style with a unique look bound to make the wearer stand out and encourage freedom, self-expression and individuality through unconventional designs. 

THE PERSONALITY BEHIND THE BRAND

Nihan Buruk, the designer, sees her business as a vehicle for not only showcasing her creativity but also advocating her beliefs and ideal. 

She uses her brand to show her commitment to social responsibility, and she has created a variety of fashion collections that address contemporary issues. 

She also intends to use a variety of artistic mediums, including songs, painting, music, and videos, to promote her vision and ideals and make her voice heard.
